Raadvad where my Studio is

From my garden in raadvad
Raadvad is a village situated in "Dyrehaven" an ancient hunting resort for the Danish King very close to Copenhagen. Here is old factory buildings  where craftspeople, artists and designers have their workshops and studios.

About 90 people live here. A lot of craftspeople, artists and people working in the forest.

The inn here in Raadvad serves very delicious food.

In this yellow house was Georg Jensen - danish silversmith born. There is a copperplate on his former house.

My workshop in Raadvad

Graphic prints

Here is some of my graphic prints. They are printed with silkscreen using reactive dyes.
The text is printed with flock. Flock is where you print with glue and after put some textile fibers on.
You use a special flock machine that magnetize the fibers, so that they will be put on very even, and look like velvet.

Working with printing in my studio.

In my Studio I have a 12 m long printing table. I print on all materials - paper, textiles, wood etc. I use many different techniques like direct printing with reactive and acid dyes- discharge print and reserve printing with many different reserves.

My screens - I always combine a lot of different graphic patterns and use the techniques to get different expressions.

A pile of papers printed with different graphic patterns.

Our meeting table - as usual with a lot of things on.

Printing on archival paper - for one of a kind art prints.
